I have to agree to an extent.England are an albatross waiting to perch on the neck of anyone who happens to play for them. It's the team that's a serial failure. You just know that they are going to fail to perform every time they take the field. It's been the case with very few exceptions since 1974.
please log in to view this image I'm back Marty! Great Scott! I tried to find a time when Ipswich last won something, but this baby just won't go back far enough!
That's very unfair.I know for a fact that they edged the Fisherman's Widows and Orphans Cup at the Crown Meadow in the latter part of the last century. (FACT!)
You know what despite all this knob-jockery by some people simple fact of the matter is we kept a team worth some £300 million out for nigh on 71 minutes. No one is going to argue with the result it was a thrashing simple as BUT for 70 minutes Man City were largely ****ting it. Had Tevez not come in from the cold I don't think they'd have won but he did and they did we move on, simples! If you missed it Holt had some cracking attempts on goal, even the Sky commentators saw those! Oh and it was nice to see a largely clean match with some mostly reasonable officiating too
Holt didn't get much service, add quality delivery from quality wide players and holt will do it. He had one cleared off the line and hit side netting twice, when you consider he was starved of service - it was actually a good performance. Ruddy is the more realistic option for me though.
You're an idiot. Exactly which England strikers other than Rooney can be mentioned in the same sentence as Aguero and Tevez. You complete muppet Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using Tapatalk 2 Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using Tapatalk 2
A penalty? I wouldn't give the plug ugly little Argie T**t as much as the steam off my piss! Quite apart from that Mancini, when he contemplates his £350million second place, need look no further than the disruption caused to his team by him and that other loon Balotelli.Ferguson got rid of him. Conclusion of Narrative.
Look, whilst you are in mid table mediocrity in the championship I don't really think you can comment on the quality of our team. We ripped you a new arse hole twice last season, how do you seriously think you would do against man city...15-0!? Agree, holt may not be a world class striker but neither is/was Kevin Davies but we took him (and Heskey past his prime) because England needed and outlet, someone who can make the ball stick up top and get his head on crosses. Showme an english striker that can do what Holt can, and that has proved he can score against international defenders at the highest level (scored against Liverpool, Chelsea etc.) and you have yourself a case...but I very much doubt you can. All the striker options want to get in behind, we can't always offer that. On the flip side, when a champ team has kept Rooney at bay, does hat make him unworthy of an England place?
It's not just us that think it! http://www.shoot.co.uk/news/latest_article/C48/premier_league/norwich_stars_england_hopes/?
His up against one of the best centre backs in the world - Kompany I don't think he done a bad job I think is he had someone with pace playing beside them he might of got a goal. Who marked Scotland and Chopra yesterday?
You're a first class div aren't you! It may well have been a penalty but there wasn't any malice behind it and what part of LARGELY clean did you not understand. Personally I think before participating in online forums you ought to go brush up your basic English skills - numpty!
Careful what you say fella's, if you really get on his nerves he will start to pick on your grammar. That really hurts.
