He was playing well tbf and was switching the ball well and keeping the opposition stretched, once he was moved out of the midfield the game opened up and they had more freedom in the middle.
That's a fair assessment other than Henderson, I thought he was playing well in the middle. I'm still not sure on Lallana he obviously has skill but he seems to lack the brain needed to go with it.
Aye, to be fair Henderson is now getting stick mainly for everything Carrick used to get stick for. Keeping the ball, moving it about, not surrendering possession and generally being a good foil for the more skilful and attacking players in the team. Teams need players like that, as our performances with and without Carrick reflect. Still, after a decade of hearing how Carrick is utterly **** for doing just that, Liverpool fans can't complain if the same criteria is applied to Henderson
