Stuck a tenner into my Ellas school box today, she went to school in a dressing gown, all for cause but would love to see what's milked and what's given..
Certainly looked like Keith Lemmon's double Jozy and Fletch have both blazed it well into row Z - not much else to report.
I've been collecting for Children in Need down here and have done really well. I'll be depositing the cash in my account for a year, scooping off the interest then sending the money at the same time next year. I'll repeat that every year so I'm making a real contribution but earning a fair amount for my efforts. Brings a tear to my eye when I think of the admiration I'll receive from people on this board
Not from me mate. Start a charity, collect the money, as director pay yourself £100,000 pa salary, if there`s any left pay it over. That`s the proper way to do it. Have you no ambition man?
FT Scotland 0 USA 0 USA looked much better second half and should have won it, Jozy had a good shot that just went wide.
Larsson had a good game for Sweden, and the Portugese are up to the diving tricks again !, remember 2006. And what the hell happened to England tonight ?, Johnson could play next week against Germany !.
mine went in onesies and wellies with coats. chuffed to bits they were - eldest (6) said 'we had a no work day today just did pudsey stuff all day' why was that i said? Because there are lots of children less fortunate then me dad.
still a development squad player. one he beds in, gets his confidence up we could see more of him second half of the season...
current non-internationals Brown Catts Jack Gards everyone else is playing, or has recently played, for their country at their respective level. Brown did, Catts could have and Jack should make the Englad set up....he's a lot better than Gareth fing Barry. says it all really. we're a bit like the Johhny Oster song..

Sky Bet Sky Bet are offering all new customers a £10 Free Bet Claim your free bet now Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy were in a France side that lost 2-0 away to Ukraine while Seb Larsson’s Sweden side were defeated 1-0 by Portugal. Goals from Roman Zozulya and Andriy Yarmolenko secured victory for Ukraine over France with Moussa Sissoko also appearing in the match as he replaced Remy on 68 minutes, Yohan Cabaye was an unused substitute. Larsson’s Sweden lost to Portugal thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s late header in Lisbon. France must now win the second leg convincingly in Paris to qualify while Sweden play their second leg at the Friends Arena in Solna. Two former Sunderland managers enjoyed victory in their first game in charge of the Republic of Ireland. Martin O’Neill and his assistant Roy Keane oversaw a 3-0 win over Latvia at the Aviva Stadium with Sunderland’s Keiren Westwood and John O’Shea playing the full game. Goals from Robbie Keane, Aiden McGeady and Shane Long secured the win while Newcastle United’s Rob Elliot was an unused sub. Sunderland strikers Steven Fletcher and Jozy Altidore played for Scotland and the United States respectively in a friendly at Hampden Park as the sides drew 0-0. On loan Sunderland midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng played the full 90 minutes for South Korea in Seoul as the home side reversed an early deficit to secure a 2-1 win over Switzerland. Sunderland winger Charis Mavrias featured for the Greek U21 side and scored in with a 19th-minute goal in a 5-1 win over Sweden in Katerini.
That was a vital game for France, how come 'one of the best players on the planet' couldn't get a kick? Incidentally, and quite funny, the French have gone into their usual 'default mode' after that defeat. "Oh, we're a rugby nation, we're not too bothered about football ....... it's common."
John O'Shea played well for the new Irish dream team of ex-Sunderland managers in their 3 nil victory.
I can slightly re-word this to "Players from Sunderland will always struggle to get into the England set up because they play for Sunderland. This is due to time honoured tradition stretching back quite a lot of years now - pinnacled by the omission of Kevin Phillips, who, at the time, was the best striker in europe, being omitted by Alan Shearer when he picked the England side back in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Adam Johnson is vying for a place but we all know that the England manager will not look as far as Sunderland for players when he can get players who are off form and playing crap at club level from places like Man City, Man Utd, Everton and Liverpool. Why would you look further than that" Sadly that is my take on the England set up. I personally think it is also to blame for us not pushing on to any other level. Players will want to leave (Darren Bent?) if it means that their international career will become more prevalent. At the end of the day, whilst the club pays your wages, it's everyone's dream to play international football.
I read that Hodgson has never been to the stadium of light. to watch a league game. Not sure if it's true but if it is it's a disgrace.
