It looks like France will be in Pot 3 due to the way the seedings work. Japan, who drew in Holland and won in Belgium yesterday will be in Pot 4, so you could have Brazil, England, France and Japan in the same group...

...and that would also lead to serious travelling, starting games in Sao Paulo against Brazil, 2nd game in Manaus 6 days later against Japan and 3rd game in Recife 5 days later against France. Win the group and get to travel back south to Belo Horizonte, continue winning, travel up north to Fortaleza for QF, then back to Belo Horizonte for SF, and finally to Rio de Janeiro for the final (as if...).

Or we could have Switzerland, England, Nigeria and Honduras.....

Unless we are unfortunate enough to draw either France, Chile or Ivory Coast from Group 3, we should still have enough quality to get out of the group, but then we would likely be drawn against one of the seeded teams.

It's impossible to say how we - or any other team - will do until the draw is made. A group of Brazil, Italy, France and Mexico, for example, could well see the hosts go out in the group stages....
