That reminds me - Bustos plays for Argentina. In any fantasy team, he plays on the opposite side of the back four to Rod Fanni. With Ralph Minge and Stefan Kuntz up front, of course.
You're forgetting this emerging talent at Heerenveen... https://www.transfermarkt.com/jizz-hornkamp/profil/spieler/185817 Of course we all know who their manager should be... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argel_Fucks
Well, that was ****! Still far too many with unfulfilled ‘potential’ being lauded as potential WC heroes. Oxfam-Chilblain, Lollana, Henderson, Young, Stones and Sterling and biggest enigma for me is Rashford. Can’t help thinking his will be another disappointing international career. Promises much (and there’s talent there), but strolls around like a superstar and offers very little. YAWN!!!
Stones is an accident looking for somewhere to happen. La-la-na is forever injured and can’t be relied on. Young is meh - actually not a bad full back, if a bit prone to getting himself sent off. Don’t get me started on that donkey Henderson. The Ox actually looks a far better playet since leaving the goons, and Pep seems to have improved Sterling. Rashford, I like. But he needs to find a brain from somewhere.
Friendly games give us no insight into how teams will perform at a major tournament. Although, having said that, it's safe to assume that England's performances will prove to be typical of how they perform at the World Cup. Lacking quality, lacking guile, craft and skill, vulnerable to conceding goals against the better teams and generally a long way short of what's needed to get anywhere near winning the thing.
Didn’t watch the game. Was the VAR decisión correct. If it was why is everyone in the media bitching about it.?
Yes it was, although the treading on foot was accidental and the fall somewhat over-dramatic. Media need to create a story as usual.......
