Depends if Pearce is back... Sarr can not cover both DaSilva at LB and Konsa at CB..... if Big Mag is missing I would play a false 9 and play one of our attacking midfielders there rather than KAG or DoDo

Side note - the defence looks hell of a lot better without Pearce.

I’ve never been a fan of Pearce, horribly limited. Good leader, poor player IMO.

 

We'd miss those 3 players too much. Different if it was in positions where we have cover, although Page might be fit by then.

The dead rubber Checkatrade kickabout aside, no first team football until Saturday 18th November against MK Dons at the Valley.
We can't be knocked off 4th spot, but I don't envy the fans who will now have to travel away to Shrewsbury on a week night.

 

Mentally it's not a bad thing for the players, but we are in the midst of an impressive run so its on KR now to keep them motivated during this time off.

If one of the guys above slip up, then this team should be smelling blood.

 

Do you think calling for the game to be postponed is a subtle way of KR saying “ain’t got a big enough squad or squad that’s capable of winning?”

Could be trying to play Roland and Katy at their own game? January is just around the corner...

Wish they’d just bugger off though.

 

Roland will get a windfall of 250000 smackers if Joe Gomez makes his England debut.

 

If any more players pull out of the squad I'm expecting Gareth to call me up.

Apparently Jay Dasilva was invited to train with the England first team this week.

After all the withdrawals this week, don't be too surprised to see him pulling on the shirt tomorrow!

 

Amazing for him. Everything you hear from the national set up is all positive towards him, seems very down to earth from his interactions with the media also.

 

Incredible talent, hopefully with an incredible future.

Fantastic! Scotland were "sensational" last night, according to interim manager Malky McKay. Pity we lost 1-0 to a team who didn't even qualify for the W/C.
