Dembélé entered the fray with just over 20 minutes left and Austria were almost immediately reduced to 10 men when right-back Peter Gluhakovic picked up a second yellow card. Despite their numerical disadvantage, it was Austria who finished the game the stronger and it took two crucial saves from Florian Escales to ensure France eventually triumphed." France are next in action on Thursday when they take on Ukraine who lost 2-0 to Greece in their opening fixture.
