Frankly, they should award the cup at the end of this game. Can't see England giving either a game.

Fantastic first half, but the Spanish pretty much shut the game down after the break.
They were similarly defensive-minded when they took the lead against Germany.
Not sure why, as they look far better when they're attacking, in my opinion.
Can't argue with the results, though. Got to be massive favourites, whoever they face.

France suffered from their lack of creativity again, but also looked quite vulnerable at the back.
Both sides rarely tested the keeper and most of that wasn't down to poor finishing.

Spain's tournament to lose as they are miles ahead of the possible opponents. Deserve it already for the consistency and quality so far.
Only hope for England or Netherlands is if Spain's youngsters bottle it (unlikely) or there's a refereeing scandal (possible)!

Considering their pissing about in the 93rd minute led to Griezmann's missed header, you can understand it to a point

...but mainly remember that when a team starts pissing about thinking the match is won, they rue the day soon enough

The Republic of Ireland have named Heimir Hallgrimsson as their new manager.
Pretty sure he was in Game of Thrones. No, hang on, I think it was Vikings.

Maybe we won't be signing Jonathan David, then...
