Anyone wishing to have an early look at Brian Hill might want to check out the Olympics tomorrow.
Spain play Egypt at 8.30am and I think it's on Eurosport.

Nope, that's his name. He's an English winger from the 70s.

I still swear that the Sex Pistols 'I Wanna Be Me' refers to looking for Brian Hill. Listen to 0.34 - 0.38 and tell me different...

For the player in white ??
Absolutely (no place in the game for such poor displays of diving) .
If that was a dive he has no business playing football professionally. He was in on goal and so there must have been a touch. Not deliberate though, unless the defender is a very sly sod

Brian Hill just got Spain a penalty in the Olympics.
It's 2-2 in extra-time against the Ivory Coast and his corner was handled by Eric Bailly.
Decent delivery, but that's really stupid defending. Oyarzabal puts it away calmly. 3-2.

Edit: Spain didn't sit back and try to defend their lead and it worked out well for them.
Rafa Mir, who is on Wolves' books, bagged a couple more to complete his hat-trick and make it 5-2.
They'll now face the winner of Japan v New Zealand, which is currently 0-0 late on.
That match is on the 3rd, which is Tuesday.

For those itching to ask, Tomiyasu was back in the Japan team for their last group stage match, a 4-0 win over France

He was booked after 22 minutes...

Japan beat Australia on penalties, following a 0-0 draw.
That means that we now face the prospect of Tomiyasu v Gil in the semi-final, though it's doubtful that they'll both start.
