Same people that are so quick to praise Spain for scoring loads against Slovakia and Italy for their exciting play have gone very very quiet when it comes to their own country tearing up the Euros. Yes the ones who slated Southgate and said he didn’t deserve the England job etc. Where you at lads?

The team have been playing in a very systematic way where everyone knows their role and performs it well, which suggests Southgate is an excellent coach. The fact that they have scored 8 goals and conceded none over 5 matches suggests his tactics are excellent too. If he is picking the wrong players as some have suggested, there doesn't seem much evidence of it.
Exactly, I’ll be honest, I’m not his biggest fan but people were going ott with the criticism of him and the tactics. So far the low point has been a 0-0 draw against Scotland but even that wasn’t that bad.
In 2 big tournaments, he’s got the semi finals both times and also the Nationa league semi final too. Time to start giving him some credit.
