Sterling hasn’t hindered Kane’s game at all, the lack of creativity in the team has. It’s no real surprise that when Grealish came on, both Sterling and Kane grabbed goals not long afterwards, he was involved in the first and got the assist for the second, he also got the assist for Sterling in the Czech game. He’s a striker/ forward’s dream with the amount he creates.

We had the fortune of watching Eriksen do it for years at Spurs, Grealish is that sort of player for England, albeit Eriksen was more technical whereas Grealish is more skilful.

For me he has to play though, Sterling and Kane will continue to benefit from it.
He played against Scotland, though. It's the system used. It's working, but it's so, so negative.

Some media outlets ran a story about England fans cheering when a tearful German girl came up on the big screens at Wembley.
It's like they've never seen football before. Of course they ****ing did! <laugh>
I doubt the Germans were too put out about it, given that they've got a word specifically for that sort of thing: schadenfreude.
It's so good that we nicked it.

Gee, I wonder why I actively cheer on England's opponents in football tournaments...

Bayern's translation of Thomas Muller's post, following his late miss to level things up. Ouch.

Really good game this. Switzerland aren't scared by anybody. Hopefully Ukraine don't put up a fight like this tomorrow <yikes>
