With the rather strange substitution of the Italy goalkeeper near the end, I can't believe I missed the opportunity to post Donnarumma has done a runner!
Mancini always regretted that he was called up for Italy for the 1990 World Cup squad but never played.
He gave Sirigu some minutes so he wouldn't have to share that regret.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him do the same for their other keeper, if he can.

Makes Mancini sound like a decent bloke. Well done to him. Italy moving forward are a joy to watch, I could live with that at Spurs if we do go Italian style.

Glad to see someone in the media has done this, I have been banging on about it for years!
I see the stats but what is the reason, I am a true England fan but detest the way our MSM portrays the team and the opposition, with the team they can't wait to blow smoke up their arses but on the other hand will create any excuses to knock the down the first chance they get
With the opposition it must be simple to get them up, just pin the sports pages on the dressing room wall or in the case of the Scum or Daily Fail the front pages

The Empire doesn’t cut it in Europe.
We didn’t colonise many of them and we never will. They’re not intimidated by our haughty attitude and superiority complex.
We can f*** off - and we did!

Hojbjerg gets another assist (and another head injury) could it be that he is allowed to concentrate on his game rather than running about like a one armed paper hanger trying to shore up our leaking defence , letting his own game down which happend last season

Don't understand the covid exclusion rules. Find it hard to believe that Gilmour's closest contacts were two England players? With a hug after the match? Did no Scottish player touch him? Did nobody touch him during the match? What about during Scotland's training? So many questions, so many possible contradictions.

And the other question nobody appears to be asking, who and where did he get it from?

Two England players or two Chelsea players? I'm sure that they didn't go out on the piss or anything... <whistle>

Mourinho on Kane:
With Harry, I would ask ‘How many chances has he missed?’ Zero.
‘How many crosses have been delivered to him?’ Zero.
‘How many vertical passes into his feet, in between the lines?’ Zero.

He's right, but Kane's still looked miles off the pace and far from fully fit.
The final group game is largely irrelevant and he should be left out of it.
Southgate should make massive changes to the side, both to rest players and to give chances to others.

Vertical passes to his feet? Does this mean over the top? Or is this from the player positioned above his head?

Actually heard the answer to my own question earlier today (I think). Apparently they were seen in conversation with Gilmour in the tunnel for 22 minutes after the game. This apparently contravenes a 15 minute rule I also didn't know about. Presumably this doesn't apply to players in the same bubble/team, or perhaps most footballers don't have 15 minutes of conversation in them.
