Bizarre from Southgate. Say you pick players on form and then pick Rashford, PIckford and Maguire (and Dier, when possible), and not Grealish? Play five defenders and two holding players against Denmark?
Get rid of Gary Southgate and give the job to Poch
1. The Grealish stuff IMHO has strong echoes of Bobby Robson
in 1989 and his non-selection of Gazza.

There has always been this tradition of avoiding creative players when selecting an English team. Only 3 managers stand out for me that I can remember. Joe Mercer, Ron Greenwood and Terry Venables. The rest have pretty much been negative.
