Southgate now pulls Maguire out of the England squad. Right thing to do IMO, both to stand by a player who was previously thought to be of good character in the first instance, then to remove him after the verdict. What makes it unusual is how fast the situation moved relative to the squad announcement.
He's innocent, though. His sister got poisoned by two Albanians, innit? How did he know they were Albanians? It was Xhaka and Shaqiri.

How did those police know he was a United footballer?....or was he standing on the bar yelling "I'm Man United!?"

Austin, Sess and Skipp in the England U21 squad. Surprised no Tanganga, although he wasn’t involved in the Ipswich game despite having been back training so perhaps he’s still carrying an injury.

Stupid alphabetical order squad announcement. Skipp, Sessegnon and Austin make it from our lot.

Like the home kit , the away kit with the collar , Naaa looks like something off the sport and soccer sales rack

Matt Doherty played 90 minutes for Ireland in a back four as they drew 1-1 in Bulgaria.
Didn't do a lot wrong, but also didn't do that much in general.

Shane Duffy scored an injury-time equaliser while wearing the captain's armband.
Really don't understand why Brighton have loaned him to Celtic, to be honest.
Maybe he's too old school for Potter or they don't want to block White's progress?

Surprisingly lost his spot to Webster last season despite the fact I thought he was brilliant in 18/19 alongside Dunk. White’s emergence probably sealed it for him, 4th choice at Brighton or (likely) pick up a league title in Scotland? No brainer in that sort of scenario I guess. Being Irish too there’s probably a strong chance he supports Celtic I’d imagine.

Yeah, he's a Celtic fan. I'd have thought that another Premier League side would've been in for him, though.
He must've pushed for it hard, as Brighton probably would've preferred to have sold him and got some cash now.

Ben Davies played 90 minutes as Wales won 1-0 in Finland via a Kieffer Moore goal.
Gareth Bale was withdrawn at half-time, apparently looking miles off the pace and lacking match fitness.

Skippy starts for England U21s, Sess on the bench.
It was 0-0 at the break. Nketiah scored a hat-trick, Nelson made it four, then Sessegnon came off the bench to add a fifth.

Nice finish. Bellingham's now added a sixth.

Kane scores, but it's ruled offside. Didn't look like it was, though. No VAR for this ****.
