I couldn't get the game.....but I would have been in tears to hear the cheering etc for the England team from the people of Kosovo. I have many Kosovan friends and I love 'em to death!
They came so close to qualifying too!

I think they still can, through the playoffs after how well they did in the Nations League

When I visited Pristina for a wedding,my friend Besnik took me a drive.I was shocked at so many new graveyards along the road. Many had the same surname.
Serbia. NOT A NICE NATION!

Really boring game in Ireland. Only things worth noting were the two enforced subs by Denmark, neither of which was Eriksen.

Glenn Whelan cleanly takes the ball, doesn't touch the man, gets booked and could've got a red, if the ref was a little bit excessive.
Can't jump into tackles like that any more.

Ireland bring on a second striker, but it's not Troy Parrott, unfortunately. Callum Robinson replaces Conor Hourihane.
The last 16 goals scored by the Republic have all been by different scorers, apparently. Mad stat.

1-0 Denmark. Braithewaite, who runs into the Danish fans to celebrate. Really haven't had a chance, other than that.
Duffy plays him onside.
