When you see a game like that football looks so easy. Then you see the opposite when we can't score and it looks impossible.
I'm sure they'll wheel David Baddiel out to make an indignant statement. You know, the self-appointed spokesperson of the entire Jewish community.
I've always found it suspect that he and Matt Lucas are both front and centre not only when speaking in support of Peter Herbert's baffling crusade against us, but also Rachel Riley's completely unhinged vendetta against Jeremy Corbyn It's like we were being used as a test subject for weaponising antisemitism so it could be used at a later date
Man City and Liverpool fined by UEFA. Liverpool for fans running on pitch. Why? They just wanted to get out of the bloody place!
Also of note: Urzi and Gaich of the U23s have been linked with us recently, so if Steve Hitchen is still on his South American assignment he'll most likely be at the U23 match
Lamela also being left out is a concern. Can’t help but wonder if that “small thigh problem” is now going to be a “big thigh problem”. Swear it always happens to the guy: 16/17 - starts well, gets injured, ruled out for the season and for a lot of the 17/18 season. 18/19 - starts well, gets injured, comes back with shaky and inconsistent form. 19/20 - starts well, gets injured, to be continued...
Rather surprised Winks is still getting in the England squad - would rather have Grealish personally.
Winks tends to make a real impact for England, he offers something different to the other midfielders in the squad - and Grealish - and gets a bit more time and space at International level, even against the top teams, than he does for Spurs. England usually look notably better when he plays for them. I wish the same was true for us all the time!!
