Last couple of mins was a bit better. Kane and Burn could have both scored. Albania have been disappointing
It's quite dull and efficient. Albania are doing a good job of making it difficult, though. I doubt they'll open up too much, even if the scoreline gets worse for them.
Foden's a good player but he's not a winger. Might be an idea to get Bowen and Gordon on to freshen things up a bit.
Yeah, **** teams know they'll lose, but they used to have a bit of a go in the hope they'd score, now it's just about keeping the score low.
They're probably trying to keep the score down for goal difference reasons, to be fair. The rest of the group is Serbia, Latvia and Andorra, so they'll fancy a shot at 2nd place. Serbia will be favourites for it and everyone will probably beat Andorra, so it could be tight.
Meanwhile, on Planet U21 - France vs England has been like watching Angeball vs Ossieball, with England going 1-0 up in the second minute only to be 2-1 down by the 7th minute, Odobert getting assists for France's third and fourth goals, and France incapable of maintaining a two-goal lead - Italy vs Holland ended up with the Dutch reduced to nine men in stoppage time, yet still conjuring a winner - Germany seem to have a generation of Timo Werners in the wings, with them registering 13 shots but only four on target...and only one went in
Take Bellingham and Kane out and we would have produced nothing. Konsa, Jones and Lewis Skelly have done ok.
