I think it’s pronounced as Yonathan rather than Jonathan though. I don’t mind them doing it when it’s correct. Much better than the likes of Paul Merson butchering any surname that has more than 2 syllables
Oh it probably is to be fair but English blokes trying to pronounce names with a twang that already have an English variant just sounds mad to me. Same with James and “Hamez”. Eden and “Aydan”. Bunch of others too. As for Merson, he just butchers everything he does, especially the booze.
That was a beauty. Some lovely goals already in the tournament. Been a superb opening week or so for the most part.
Billy Gilmour's an odd player. Always seems to graft and passes well, but doesn't get much recognition. I assume he's doing something wrong somewhere down the line, but I can't really place it. Never scores and doesn't get many assists, I guess.
Neat and tidy player but doesn’t influence the game enough up the top end of the pitch. Scottish Lo Celso
Tierney's a good defender, but he's made out of balsa wood. Hope that's not as bad as it looks though, obviously.
The Scotsman on co-comms said he got the ball - did he ****! To be fair the Scots have put in a good show. I still think there will be a winner in this one
Scotland lose their first match Scotland draw their second match Scotland need to win their third match if they want to progress Why does this sound familiar...?
