On the other hand, Ben Orange said he didn't want to be called up

And then the Bottlers posted an online video that made it look like he'd died...

Why do we have to have a f****** international break now? Every club competition is getting interesting. So let’s have a 2 week break <doh>
I’m sure international games (mostly friendlies) can be played at a less critical time.
There are clearly too many games played - and no prospect of that changing. But a division between playing club and international games might make it more palatable

International friendlies in-season should be done with
the understanding that the starting XIs will not be
filled with the better players, and of those that do start
they have not been playing competitively of late
(returned from injuries, low cumulative minutes in their
legs etc) .

What's wrong? Don't you want to watch pointless matches with nothing at stake? Weirdo.

Mainoo should have been called up.
England are not the strongest in his position. Rice apart, central midfield is quite weak. Unless Bellingham plays deeper than he should.
And what’s the point of picking Henderson for two friendly games?

The man himself says that Liverpool were right to get rid of him.

England have a ton of players in every position, possibly with the exception of left-back.
Two friendlies should be used to test out the untested.
Drop your first XI entirely and give the others a shot at making the squad.

Or, and this is just a thought...do them in the winter break?

Brennan Johnson with a big goal, albeit an exceptionally easy one.
Davies and Rodon also started and combined on a disallowed goal.

I see Lo Celso played and scored for Argentina.

Funny how he’s fit for them but not Spurs.

This summer has to be the time the club gets rid of him. Waste of space

Not disagreeing with you, but he's been on our bench since the Wolves match.
Postecoglou obviously doesn't think he's worth selecting.
Barcelona supposedly want him, so perhaps something can be done there?

Dane Scarlett hat-trick.
First two were very similarly worked. Third was a Harry Kane penalty.
Great strike from Villa's Oranjeboom to open the scoring.
