Should really be taking him off at HT though, the record is well and truly in his sights now.

At long long last Southgate has withdrawn him. 62 minutes when he need ever have played.

With Hungary beating Poland, we could have sent the ladies team.

That's a shame because I think he would be a great improvement on Dixon

Nah, it's still more fun when San Marino score in the first ten seconds

Play offs will be tasty. Portugal, Italy and Sweden for Scotland and Wales to get past.

That Saka has a first touch to die for. Shame Sissoko didn't have the same.

He pays his taxes, unlike one of his former teammates who works as a pundit...

Last nights match was the perfect example of why there is a need for change in international football particularly in Europe.

England scored 10 and had 85% possession, if it had been a boxing contest they would not have come out for the 2nd half. I don't think that there is a single team in the top 5 divisions of English football who would not beat them, and that is not being unfair on them or suggesting that they should not be allowed to enter. But it is time for the world cup to become a bit like the FA Cup. In that a sunday league team can enter the FA cup, but they can't draw a league team without winning a few matches first.

The nations league must be used as a qualifying tournament for the the world cup and euro qualifiers. There is too much international football and whilst I do not wish to denigrate Harrys achievements, records will continue to tumble whilst we have 2/3 minnows in every qualifying group.
