Yes. Finished 1-1 in normal and extra-time, then 6-5 to Germany on penalties. Everyone else that took one scored.
Reminds me a little of Ole. Different styles of course as Ole favours an attacking brand at Utd whereas Southgate a defensive one with England but both have great squads at their disposal yet are tactically inept at getting them over the line when it really matters.
We’ll see if Ronaldo can cover for Ole’s ineptitude this season but I’d probably say even he can’t do it.
