Creative number 10? Perhaps Kacaniklic or - please - Pat Roberts will get more chance in that role if Ruiz and David move on.

Fair play Captain, I can see that. And based on the second half of yesterday's game maybe Kit does also. With the added bonus of playing McCormack at centre forward (as you said in the other thread).

The story that Real Betis want Fernando Amorebieta is rearing it’s head again.

According to Marca we are prepared to let the 29-year-old go this month and, “it is Betis that lead the race“.

I'm not convinced by him and his wages look to be up at £26500 which could be better spent elsewhere

I think he's good enough. I believe this will be a financial decision...and I'm OK with that either way.

Dutch papers are saying that Chris David will go on a "free"

"David can leave on a free transfer at Fulham..

The Enschede midfielder state since 2013 under contract with the London club, which last season relegated from the Premier League. David went through the entire youth of FC Twente. At Fulham, where Bryan Ruiz is under contract, the desired breakthrough failed to materialize. This season, he is not in the plans of the technical direction for. FC Twente is known as one of the candidates to recruit David."

We've speculated about the issues surrounding someone who has obvious talent. Thinking back on first team games where David has started one pattern seems to emerge - he disappears from the game about the hour mark. I reckon lack of stamina is his main problem and why Kit doesn't play him.

Along with Smith, it looks like Kit has had a look at him and decided he's not up to it. Shame really, perhaps the issues are insurmountable, won't be too happy if he ends up going for a few bob 2 years down the line. I thought, after his goal at the end of last season that he would be a part of our future. Strange that fitness maniac Magath gave him a run out if stamina and attitude are problems, but a lot of strange things happened then!

It's now Colorado Springs who are reported to be after Hugo -

”It’s no secret that the Colorado Rapids are looking for a second designated player to add to their strikeforce this season. It's been said that they're looking for someone with Premier League experience -- not a Frank Lampard of course, but a player worthy of the DP label. A few names have been thrown around, but the most popular one at the moment is that of Hugo Rodallega of Fulham.

Hugo has 6 months left on his Fulham contract, leaving a potential opening for Colorado to swoop in.

He might not be quite as high-level a player as Rapids fans would be hoping for, but as far as established strikers in the world go, you could do far worse if you were the Rapids and looking for a second DP.”

It's being widely reported in Spain that an agreement has been reached for Bryan Ruiz to join Levante on loan until the end of the season. Since Levante are currently one place off the bottom of La Liga I expect whether it becomes permanent depends on them staying up.

In his press conference today Kit said that Hugo would not be leaving, to join the MLS side Colorado.

He also confirmed that Bryan wanted to go in January but he (Kit) had expected a sale rather than a loan. In adddition to Chris David he said he expected Thomas Eisfeld to be leaving (to a Bundesliga side I think, from rumours elsewhwere)

He added that, "there’s been interest but nothing concrete in terms of offers for the younger players."
