Ah cool, I had the 8v too, one of my mates had the 1800 16v but the piston shot out the side of the barrel which was unlucky. I could have sold mine for at least 1200 but there was a rare crosser someone I knew was selling for 400 and loads of people were after it so sold it for 650 and effectively got the crosser for free, it's worth about 1500 now so not bad business.
Yeah it sure was, twin 2.5 v6 engines it had didn't it? Not keen of metros looks at all but they're baked bean cans that weigh nothing, used to go street racing a lot in Birmingha some lad had a 1.8 vvc'd metro that would wipe the floor with any scoobys, evos, even beat a 1000+ bhp skyline between 2 roundabouts. It was stupidly fast!
Outside football, I like messing around with guitars in my small music/recording room I,m far from brilliant but enjoy what I do. Gardening on my allotment, before anyone takes the piss i,m over 50 so its allowed. a bit of cycling, mainly because I,m a fat ****.

That would be a beast of a ar to drive, shame there's only about 10 left in the world, they're worth about 50k nowadays. Pretty useless having one though because they're banned from most events for being far too quick!! More of a collectors item nowadays.
ps, I also collect Hull City shirts. pps, Cars are all crap . ppps Though if I ever did go insane and get a car it would have to be a bubble car
