Signing **** players from the championship on those wages: Graham, McLaughlin and Grigg.Danny Graham 6K?![]()
BUT and here is the scary thing - nearly every player on there signed before the cap is contributing £1,700 to it. As of next season that doesnt apply.
Looking at that we should be desperate to get out of this league and away from the ****ty salary cap - it will massively hurt us next year if we are still in league 1
I read that the £1700 is for the duration of the existing contracts, any extensions or new contracts count fully
Ahh ok. Still we could be ****ed due to the amount of players out of contract in the summer.I read that the £1700 is for the duration of the existing contracts, any extensions or new contracts count fully

Yes, I think that's a massive problem. It won't apply to us where we are going though, there's no salary cap it the ChampionshipAhh ok. Still we could be ****ed due to the amount of players out of contract in the summer.
I've just read that severance pay doesn't count towards the salary cap so we can pay Graham off without any impact on our wage billthis is correct. any contract signed before the date this came into effect (august) counts as average for the duration of that contract, even next season and beyond.
