With our financial clout and the ability of our lot forming a new company. Anything is possible as a deal to rent the facility from a newly formed corporate is the only way I can see it happening.

QPR building a new stadium as a club with debts of £279m look doubtful to me

The club doesn't have debts. The shareholder loans were converted to equity.

Fernandes and his sidekicks have consistently ****ed up every step of the way since he acquired the club, whether it’s managerial appointments, training grounds, stadiums and budgets. The man’s been awful. I wish he’d done it to his beloved Hammers.

For me it was always BBC site and we blew it
Then shopping centre and blew that
Last chance saloon is LC stadium which has space but more importantly W12.
If we lose this it will confirm that TFis only using us for a housing project.

How will that confirm that out of interest Ellers?

Can’t blame him he needs to get some money back

He needs to cut his losses and piss off and play with his hairyplanes. Best leave the stewardship of a football club to people that need less than a decade to get the hang of things. I’m more than fed up with his “we move forward” and “we stay positive” tweets and ****. Steve McClaren FFS.

Does not make sense to me. Only a bit bigger than Wembley and not as big as The O2. Is there really a market for that??

Surely better to have a stadium with guaranteed use two to three times per week and then rent it out for conferences, concerts etc as additional use and additional remuneration?

Assuming the site is going to be redeveloped, and given its W12 location, it would seem very strange if we were not able to relocate there. Perhaps H&F is run by Chelsea fans?!

Perhaps H&F have looked at how he's f*cked us up and decided to look elsewhere, you couldn't blame them, it's like we're run by the footballing version of Mr Bean...

reading this I am not quite sure how you lot are assuming we will not be an integral part of this.
The consultion talks about a summer concert site...why can't that be our stadium?

Why can't this be part of our plan...no good a site for a venue that doesn't earn money for the other 9 months of the year. My main objection to this concert venue plan...is the same one as to putting our stadium there...access and facilities...Poor access by public transport and no real facilities around

Let's see how this pans out

The clue may be in the proposed 13,000 capacity, we'd be looking double that as an absolute minimum...

I have always said there is no point in moving if we are only going to build a 25K stadium. That is nothing these days and for the future. If TF believes his own BS it should be 35K with room to expand and not a 25K stadium with no expansion.

I think access is poor only in London terms. Can’t be more than a 15 minute walk from a number of tube stations (ok I walk fast) probably closer when (if) Old Oak is developed and linked.

Doesn’t seem like this has anything to do with us though.

A concert venue at a 25,000 stadium wouldn't be much more than 15000 methinks.
Only 3 sides, 2 foreshortened...but people in the pitch..

We've certainly had some interesting and exciting times since he bought his stake. The man himself admits to making many mistakes but there are many, many worse owners around. Personally, given the cost of running a Championship football club nowadays, I feel rather more secure having him and Ruben supporting us than most of the other options. In fact, my bigger worry is that he'll tire of all the stick he gets and walk away. Where would we be then?

He's undeniably well-intentioned, ambitious and rich. One can debate how real the new training ground and stadium plans are but we'd never get within a million miles of either without the current owners. Call me gullible if you will but I actually believe the management team are trying damned hard to make these dreams a reality.

OK, you're gullible :)

Fernandes is a plucky amateur, I reckon. I understand the 'better the devil you know' - after all, we could have a modern day Chris Wright instead - but I can't shake off the impression that Fat Tone is a bit of a knob.

Sort of agree Uber. There is only so much spin before you ask the question.
Just about every club manages to get a new training ground or stadium sorted yet QPR can't get any over the line?
You have to ask the question is it all BS?
