I didn't know being ill for years after being medically discharged from the forces, and not being able to afford to go to see my beloved swans is enough to be warranted a fool, or a plastic, but then twats like you and John are too thick to look at the bigger picture ;)
 
why don't the mods just delete posts that are nonsense and only posted to provoke a reaction, If fans cant keep to the thread in a sensible way then the mods are partly to blame for allowing it. its pathetic and belongs in the playground....

fair enough blue but surely you can have some sort of election and vote for two more mods who are regular contributors. I have been following these forums for a good while now and did not post due to all the rubbish posted by jacks and bluebirds as its pathetic and childish, I hate threads that just provoke and i hate certain fans derailing threads for no other reason that to provoke a reaction. A couple of regular users should be made mods and we can end this rubbish in an instant, why should these fans on both sides ruin both forums for the rest of us who want to discuss the topic of the day in a respectful manner on any board. just a thought as its your board afterall..

I've also been ill for many years, I've suffered 2 strokes in 2006 and although I went back to work just over a year later I collapsed in work. On Monday of this week I was told I can no longer drive because of medical reasons. Because my wife works I can not claim any benefits. At one time I chose to lose my telephone line & internet rather than lose my Cardiff City season ticket.

I am very sorry that you have your illness and thank you for your work helping all of us to feel safe.

However to call anyone a twat is beyond what could be called banter.

I think the match was on free TV, channel 5 but not 100% sure as I don't watch Swansea.

Was free on TV so they say and still you were obsessed by the Cardiff board!!

Think that the word "TWATS" is a bit stronger than being called a plastic,you dont want to get a ban now do you sarge ......just calm down and be a good lad eh ........................;O)

And trust me, other teams don't see you as you think they do. You are not considered some great footballing wonder club by the majority like your girls group seems to think. Just a small club from a small town doing its best.

The worrying thing about that table for the English is that the top five clubs on that list aren't setting the league on fire!

I apologise for calling you a twat Dai (seeing as Dafydd isn't your name :p) I took a bit of offence to being deemed a fool and plastic bcos I was not at the game, which of course you didn't know my circumstances, that added to the fact we just threw away the 3 points by being complete and utter clueless on how to close a game out, and I overreacted to the whole thing.

But yeh, I honestly can't afford to go, I have to prioritise at the moment. And as much as I love the Swans, there are other more important area's that I need to sort out first. I used to go, spent many evenings and weekends on the northbank as a kid, travelled to a few away games when money permitted, and I do find it hard not seeing my team, so at the moment I make do with the Internet, as I can still watch every game, just at a cheaper rate than tickets and travelling.

As you may or may not know. I am also ex forces (RN) Luckily i have my health, and i hope yours improve. Have you tried contacting your local SSAFA branch, i think there is one in Cardiff that serves South Wales. Why not give them a ring and put your case forward for a bit of financial support. They have millions and millions in the bank so have plenty in the bank. Its worth a phone call and if you want a bit of help, PM me. It would be good PR for them if they were to help you out i am sure.

I am deeply offended by the personal attacks from Glamorgan in this thread, I do believe the T&C's for the not606 site state that is an offence which warrants a ban.

Irrelevant and my starting comment was a response to a wild claim. So, will you enforce the T&Cs for the personal insults or should I go above you and also make note to higher authorities that you are choosing to not enforce the site rules?

Careful, this is a banning offence and if your mod does not respect the rules then I will also be demanding all vulgar comments in this thread are dealt with.
