    Mr. Short is switched on. He knows that when the TV rights expand in both China and India grow, then the profitablity of the premiership grows. Most, if not all premiership investors are waiting for that ship to sail in. So Mr. Short will know his asset will be more valuable as an asset, if it is littered with decent names, who can take the club forward season, on season. He's on the verge of selling part of his business at Lone Star for £4-5 billion, so he may see his way to helping Bruce and Quinny build up another investment that one day( china and India willing) will be very valuable indeed.
