Exactly, he didn't even play all that much and when he did (Huddersfield sub appearance aside) he never looked anything particularly good. you can only assume Warnock liked what he saw in training...either way, it just annoys me how we have him on loan as a 'try before you buy' policy, and he looks distinctly average (at best). we have Tonge and Thomas on loan who have looked pretty good, and we can't sort out their signings first?! granted Thomas probably won't be allowed to leave or whatever but it would be nice just to see some intent...
