http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4720439/Out-of-contract-Premier-League-players.html There are quite a few that would do the job for us.......thoughts on who you would like to see in a Leeds shirt at the end of the transfer window.
Tempting, but realistically, Dunne & Lichaj from AV in a heartbeat. And Gera too, if the price was right. I was always a fan of Fraser Richardson, but not sure how he's playing these days.
Lichaj's primarily a RB but plays both sides. I'd take him, Tierney, Nelsen (don't care how old he is, he is head and shoulders above every defender to play for us since we were relegated!), Whitehead, and Kilgallon. I don't think any of the good ones would be even remotely interested in joining though. Would love Di Santo, i really rate him and think he'd score a hatful at a lower level. Great touch.
Who I would like, who would be realistic and the ones Warnock feels would do the job would all sadly differ.. The ones we would get would have to be: a) Over 32 years of age b) Have played for Portsmouth c) Have played under Warnock before d) Have had Warnock chasing him for several years
I'd rather Nelsen over Upson and two ageing centre backs isn't ideal. Saha, when fit, would be an asset, but that's the problem...he's rarely fit.
Lichaj is deffo a right back and Id have him he was great for us in a really poor defence. Ryan Shottons decent aswell
Is there not a list of non-league players reaching the end of their contracts available? Might be more use to us!
We'll be after Kieron Dyer now he has been released from QPR and Akpo Sodje now Scunthorpe don't want him
Would anyone else welcome Pennant back? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ant-moved-Arsenal-14-years-ago-did-wrong.html
yeah I listened to it, he sounded god awful. would love for him to come good but I just can't see it happening, doesn't look championship standard at all
The really annoying thing is we had him on loan to take a close look at him and his weakness wasn't spotted or it was and was ignored and we still sign him?
