only middle aged farts I know who go to games are my dad, who is driving and therefore can't drink, my mate Steve, who is tee total like me, and his mate Richard. You're not Richard are you?
I don't understand how fans of other clubs hate Leeds - most of the established Premiership clubs wouldn't give them a second thought - just a lower league team that yo-yo's between Championship and League 1.
Rest of the Championship either laugh at Leeds or feel sorry for them (or a bit of both).
Think its either other Yorkshire teams or League 2 teams that must hate Leeds - or local businesses that were robbed by the old owners - or teams that lost out when Revie's Leeds bought their success with bungs!!
But you guys hate us TC,I've heard you singing it.Is it traveling in a taxi to away games that makes you bitter,or is it the fact you get lonely sat in an empty stand every week ? do you miss the friendship of other fans ? You hate us because you will never be Leeds don't you TC.
Well earlier this season I had the dubious pleasure of sitting amongst the Wall fans at the New Den, not one of them watching the game, but instead spent the entire 90 minutes shouting abuse at the massed ranks of Leeds fans at one end. Now if that's not hatred I don't know what is.
Don't get me wrong though, it made for a great if rather hate-filled atmosphere, and the more we're hated the more we like it, soak it up like a sponge.
