This may have been posted before but I enjoyed reading it.

Waggy said he scored one penalty and missed one penalty. I suppose he meant in competitive matches because I saw him miss twice. Once against Manchester United in the Watney Cup. Everybody was stunned and Waggy was laughing!
Another penalty miss was against Hull City Southern Supporters although he did get a hat trick. He must have been in his 40s.

"I can't be doing with all this passing back to the goalkeeper" he said.

At 80 years of age he's still got his wits about him!!!

Tigers legend... FACT.

Good read. Great picture of Waggy & Tom Courtenay - Think I'll get it printed and insert it into my signed copy of TC's book "Dear Tom". I've got both of their autographs on the inside title page of Tom's biographical publication. Great memories.

I was behind the goal at Stamford Bridge when he scored those 2 goals, to this day I have never heard pandemonium like it when the 2nd went in.
