Heard on the news on the way into work this morning that there are now more Humanist weddings that Catholic ones in Scotland, and they fully expect there to be more Humanist than Protestant weddings by 2015. Registry office weddings still at #1 Ineresting, eh? I didny think so, either.
I didn't say that - and as Tina and a few others know i'd be spectacularly unlikely to be bigoted against Catholics. I just don't like people who bang on about how important the vaklues are and how they need to be taught when they dump them at a drop of a hat just to suit their own ends.
Calling people bigots, posting pictures that have nothing to do with the thread, comparing posters to medro and responding to your own posts in the hope people who ignired it fuirst time might suddenly think "oh that was hilarious". Shall i add the tag or does someone else want to?

The ethos of my school was to be a man (person) for others. Margaret Thatcher was the absolute antithesis of that. A movement of selfish self centred ****s was named after her. I am not naive enough to think her ideals will die with her but the departure of a totem of selfishness is something I have no qualms about saying is absolutely a good thing.
Dan was actually working but don't let that stop you. Anyway, antithesis of what one was bought up to believe or not i would argue that espousing the virtues of catholicism (and expecting the state to pay for it) whilst at the same time rejoicing at someone's death is a little hypocritical. Here endeth the sermon.
Let's face it Thatch was a spazzy *****, when all is said and done. Doesn't make her a bad person. The fact she was a **** does though.
God will forgive me...or at least one of his representatives will But who is going to forgive you for your Medroesque Thread trying to blame Catholic Schools for people celebrating Thatchers death I bring out the dumb in you
Dearie me. I don't think i have blamed catholic schools for people celebrating thatcher's death. Rather I pointed out that you had a bit of a cheek banging on about integrity whilst at the same time showing absolutely none yourself through on the one hand insisting that the government should fund them because of the values they teach and on the other acting in an entirely unchristian way through celebrating her death. You've demonstrated, in your own case obviously, that they don't work at all. It's really not very hard you know.
