There you go again with vicious slanderous comments against a poor poster. Call that modding? (you're just trying to get round me for putting the mockers on my prediction league)
Been obnoxious as of late to say the very least. Our board treat him a bit like a beloved family pet, it's just accepted he's a bit ****ing weird.
I’ve always tried to give Munse another chance another way out even in my post I have used the word ‘choosing’ because I believe somewhere in Munse there is the ability to bypass this basic wummery level 1 he seems to be stuck at and now n again contribute some depth to his conversation but I’m not holding my breath
He can chat about footy normally on our board now and again, depending on his mood. But it's all to alleviate his own anxieties and not really to actually chat. He will post perhaps, 6 times, in the match day thread something like "Newcastle will not get 6 points." Over and over again. Then he will inevitably pop up a thread of his own "will Newcastle get 6 points?"
That's a result of 14 years of Mike Ashley ****ing a great football club and now you will become hated as the Saudis squander their billions. These thing always have collateral damage.
I think CK is right when he says that a lot of the spiked animosity is a consequence of your troubles off and on the pitch at the moment. There is evidently a lot of disconnect between the club and fans. People become more vocal about things they feel passionate about (particularly any wrongdoing or injustices), which is how the growing disenchantment manifests itself. Sometimes people can also fall down a rabbit hole of conspiracy theories to rationalise why things aren't going well, and that can also rub other posters the wrong - moreso if said posters don't follow that mantra. Not that I'm saying Vim was doing this, I'm just saying it can happen because I've seen it happen at my own club too and it's what led to the infighting between fans online. I'm not going to come on here and start slating people who can't defend themselves, but the way the Arsenal board was moderated during that time where people were becoming hugely split over Wenger and KSE wasn't the best example of how to run a board. There were situations that didn't need to escalate as far as they did. Perhaps some calmness from the mods and proactive decision-making would have been better for all involved. As CK rightly said, some posters got banned and never returned, whereas others were so annoyed about how they were treated that they joined other Arsenal forums (ArsenalMania, GoonerTalk, some even went to JA606 I was told...). I think what the mods have done here is absolutely the right thing in terms of communicating and gathering the opinions of the current posters to see what can be improved or if any processes needs to be changed. Consultation with other members is extremely important. Although it's unclear on the exact reasons why KH has been temporarily suspended, I don't think the mods would take this decision lightly. Therefore, if all 3 of them felt it was in the best interests of the Spurs board to do this (and maybe for KH himself to avoid exacerbating a sensitive situation), then we have to trust that the suspension is the correct decision, even if it seems harsh externally. From my perspective, I've got no major qualms with anyone, or how the board is ran, and have generally felt welcomed on here by everyone - despite my club allegiance!
Bit late to the party but you guys are doing fine. It's honestly a good board and i think it shows in how active it is and there isn't really much abuse here, theres a good amount of differing views and you even allow some dissent and opposition fans to partake in banter. There is a lot of tribal opinions towards the spuds but thats par for the course being a spurs board.
Honestly, I read the situation from the other day. Whilst i think Vim has overreacted and is being slightly sensitive, he has voiced his displeasure at King engaging with him and mocking. Rather than arguing against it (and i fully agree with Kings opinion), i get the impression that king feels he is not doing anything wrong and wants to fight for him freedom of expression even though vim has made it clear he does not like what king has done I do like kings contribution but he just shouldn't engage or at least make an argument rather than jesting/mocking (it's a fine line depending on the recipient) every time this pops up so i can sort of understand the mods position in this. A month seems a tad long and harsh though Now we can fully integrate king into the PL board
I do recall within ten minutes of me first venturing onto the PL board I had you and Dona convincing everyone I was an HIAG sock.
I come in peace. Please don't make me leave in pieces. I have just had a PM from Piskie... He understands the respect me and you guys have for each other and wants me to ask you all, if the past can be forgotten and a new future forged? He's promised not to WUM and wont come on during your derby games. I'm willing to stand guarantor for him. Thanks.
Pretty sure we hold a referendum on this motion every 4 years. Next hearing isn't due until late autumn I believe. Tell Ponkie he should use the time to make campaign leaflets, prepare speeches for hustings and dust off his suit for the televised debates. Going door to door canvassing would help but doesn't he live in the middle of arse cheek nowhere?
You've posted this on the same page as someone describing him wrecking his own board! There's more chance of Millwall getting promoted this season.
