With our well documented rise through the divisions since beating Hull 4-2, to the point where now we are on the verge of playing in the greatest league in the world and the way we have gone about setting up our club etc its nice to see that we can be used as an inspiration for lower league clubs who wish to emulate our achievements.

I did get a giggle out of that, I'll be honest. Who'd have thunk that our big cousins and their massive football club would even need inspiration!
 
Exactly! You would have thought their amazing fans with their undying support would be inspiration enough...its not like they are know to walk out of the ground at half time or anything :s :)
 
I was contemplating doing one of those joint thread things but given the amount of rubbish that ended up being on the last one i thought i would just wait until they inevitably read this thread on here because we all know the majority of them are swans fans at heart LOL
 
Ha ha. Saw that one on the Beeb site. We'll be even more of an inspiration when we get to Europe and they are in Div 2. Yes, I'm serious.
 
Yeah it got posted over there and hit so many different tangents i was getting confused. But 130+ posts there to the 10 on here is a massive contrast in reaction lol
 
poor Ernie......to little to late pal, you wont get anywhere near the premiership with your team mates you got now,,,,,never mind just try to do your best to stay in the championship even though its a big ask this season,......you can always watch us when we are not playing on a saturday for a bit more inspiration....<laugh>
 
Go on, call me old fashioned, I think the first reply on this thread should have 'THUNK' through what he was trying to say !!
 
I bet a few of them were spitting feathers at the thought of little old us having anything to offer them and that one of their own came out out with the idea , makes it more amusing.:emoticon-0100-smile
