Evening All!

Not a major revelation here, but thought I would do a quick analysis of all the results to date, given that NA has operated a pretty even shuffle, and see which keepers and defenders have conceded the fewest number of goals, and which midfielders and attackers have been on the field when we have scored goals.

I haven't double checked this for accuracy, but my findings throw up this 4-4-2 line-up ( with a few positions undecided because scores are even )

Davis / Bart / Forecast ( -3 )

Butterfield ( -4 )
Fonte ( -3 )
Martin / Seaborne ( -4 )
Dickson / Harding ( -4 )

Chamberlain ( +4 )
Cork ( +5 )
Schneiderlin ( +4 )
Lallana ( +7 )

Lambert / Guly ( +4 )
Connolly ( +7 )

How far removed is this from everybody's idea of a starting team against Leeds United?
It excludes two of our most experienced players in Chaplow, Hammond.
Cork, Lallana and Connolly catch the eye from an attacking point of view.
Excluded Reeves as I doubt NA would consider him seriously for the big KO.
De Ridder would obviously come into the equation.

Depends how serious chambos injurys is. Wouldn't be surprised if De Ridder starts instead of him, and probably Hammond instead of Schneider with Barnard and Lambo uptop

Can't see Barnard starting to be honest.
Certainly wouldn't play him ahead of Lambert and Connolly.

I think, for the Leeds game atleast, barnard is better equipped to play. He is stronger and quicker than Connolly. Against the tough Leeds defence he could be the difference, however Connolly is a far more classy player

Even though he has come back from injury, and we haven't scored while he has been on the pitch during pre-season, Flooders?

At his peak, he would be a contender, but not sure if NA is nursing him back gently, as he doesn't seem to be getting the minutes that other strikers are.
Perhaps some of the tests they carry out suggest he is a risk still?

agreed - he hasnt got as many minutes pre-season as the others so for me i doubt he will start against leeds. Connolly and Lambo to start me thinks, Guly + Barney on the bench. could change if we get another striker though.
