Actually no. I got scared by The Shining because the atmosphere and Jack Nicohlsons facial expressions... lol

The Blair Witch Project had a cliff hanger ending.... so it could be followed up by an even worse film, the Blair Witch Projet 2...

I don't just get scared by jumpy moments. Most films that scare me nowadays is films that could actually happen, like serial killer movies, or psycological thrillers, but i wouldn't call The Blair Witch Project a Psycoclogical thriller/horror, i'd call it something along the lines of a 3 american ******s running around a forest screaming type film.

Completely agree, one of the most under-rated horror films around. People who find it **** are usually the simpletons with no imagination...

 

Haha and it's not a cliffhanger at the end! If you wtch the film properly the answer is in the interviews at the start. They use not different camera amgles and no music whatsoever creating an eery on edge atmosphere.
It's to leave you ****ting yourself at the end.
I'm not having a go at you Tash because some people just have other tastes and you are right on The Exorcist and The Shining being brilliant, but just don't insult what is considered one of the best Horrors of all time by not only me buy many critics.

They did make a second film which was rubbish. Don't watch it for those who haven't see it.

Last thing, you should all check out the paranormal activity 3 trailer, with the Bloody Mary scene. Looks great!
