Posh have agreed a fee with Daggers for striker Rhys Murphy. It is not clear yet whether the player himself has agreed terms with the club.
Will May arrive in January or do we have to wait until August? http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/...lion-pound-bid-for-scottish-striker-1-5827672
Rhys Murphy has rejected a move to Posh, Newport County confirm that an offer for striker Conor Washington has been received from Posh

Posh to sign Conor Washington from Newport County with Shaun Jeffers going the other way in a cash plus player deal
No OBM you are not wrong. I and others have felt for some time that the crux of our problems has been in Midfield. Strikers can't score without good service and Defenders are under pressure, thereby becoming prone to errors because we fail to control the Midfield area. Apparently our targets are now Defenders when, as you say, we are crying out for a Mick Halsall/Dean Keates type of player in the middle. Re Assombalonga rumours abound that Celtic are sniffing around and trying to prise him away before the transfer window closes. If that is true I hope Britt realises he is better staying with Posh a bit longer to develop his career rather than bench warming at best in Glasgow.
Glad you can see my post OPP, I cannot. I wondered if Britt might be away, or certainly subject to some bids, and Celtic have moved a few on lately. I don't think we should judge our centre backs too harshly until they have proper protection, also I would not be surprised to see a familiar face from Suffolk prior to the start of next season.
Rumour floating around that Middlessbrough have made a late bid for Lee Tomlin,,, we shall see in the next 25 minutes whether there is any truth in that
According to Darragh 3 clubs have bid for Tomlin, Barry is sat in his office waiting to conclude the deal if our valuation is met
Posh have signed Jack Baldwin, a Centre Back who can also play in Midfield, from Hartlepool. Described by Darragh MacAnthony as 'the best young CB in the football league' Fee was £500,000
Quote from Darragh: "Also we have agreed 2 deals for players who will join once loan window opens in over a week. One of them is quality No 10 type!! love it."
Posh have accepted Middlesbrough's bid for Lee Tomlin but there are doubts as to whether the paperwork went through in time - will probably have to wait until the loan window re-opens in a few days
