So that mean it's ok for Hendo to cry to the media about this contract? It also implies that he can disrespect the club in future and it's ok because he's captain. He already had 2 years left on his existing deals and we stupidly decided to extend it. A player who is clearly on the decline since we won the title and we're now paying the price for it.

The club (or maybe just Klopp) is making emotional decisions rather than logical ones. If this trend continues, then we should be concerned.

I wouldn't give Keita a contract extension if he was prepared to take less money, never mind an increase!!!

 

He isn't good enough, even ignoring his fitness. Cut our losses

 

Keita has the highest win percentages in the squad I believe. Fabinho plus Naby or Thiago wins games. These duo's give us the platform to attack and defend as a unit. No other combination gives us that level of balances.

So whilst you can question his ability or fitness, the guy does help us win games.

 

P.S I still think he should leave for his own benefit.

 

since his team have reportedly broken off extension talks seems likely he is going to go on a free at end of season .

 

I thought Naby's injury seemed a little "too convenient". Probably scheduled to get better on Sept 1st.

7. Keita, **** knows. The pool last time wasn't won with zero minutes unselected. I got close with 15mins.
8. Ox. No return date. Nobody cares either
9. Konate. No return date. Seriously.
10. Ramsay. Nobody gives a **** so nobody has asked when he might start training. Should have not loaned Bradley and then not signed this lad really but who really cares cos well.. trent is awesome or something

In theory we will have a full bench of unfit nohopers for the everton game but none of that matters as only thaigp can trun this **** round. Middle of September

Good. I think the state of what we saw last night means we might as well see milner run about pretending to be a 25 year old winger but doesn't track back as henderson running away from gaol all the time.


seriously though a 32 year old having to play 2 a week and pop goes a muscle. its not exactly surprising.

when you've 8 CMs and 4 are injured/skiving and another is only back form injury and well... two of the others are actually proven to have had a few injuries.... well... its pretty clear something needs to change.

LFC need to write off 2 players now Keita and ox and suck up their wage for 12months. Need to buy at least 1 but have left it too late.

 

To be honest, he probably needs a time on the sideline anyway, but not good being injured.

 

Hendo out for at least 5 games as hamstring injury is described as "serious" by Klopp.
