Good to see Ilori back playing - think he's pllayed in the last 3 games, kept 2 clean sheets and was awarded MOTM.

If he can stay injury free, then he can become a quality player. Looking forward to having him back - his style would be perfect as the middle of a back 3.

Liverpool's Mamadou Sakho is not in the squad to face Besiktas in the Europa League tonight. But there's good news on the hip injury he's been suffering from.

The defender has tweeted: "Good news as following the tests I had at the beginning of the week and after the medical staff's opinion I can go back to training with the group on Saturday.

"Meanwhile, I wish good luck to the whole team for tonight."

Nothing on Lucas then? Would like more midfield options for the run in. Am glad Sigurdsson is injured, he started to look dangerous.

 

Sorry..Lucas was omitted, He's expected back on 22 March.

 

Sigurdsson out and gomis being a doubt are big for us

We should have a full squad more or less goining into international week and utd game kicking that off

 

so all midfield options available from Easter. We'll need everyone, I don't want to get to the same situation as last year when Henderson got a suspension and our wheels fell off.
