Wow the list is so big I think it's clear the manager has to take some responsibility. Some straight 6 mental gymnastics used to make claims that Howe is or isn't at fault though. It's all theory... the facts are we have lots.
I never said they were. We were supposed to be talking about our lengthy injury list, then for no apparent reason you went off on some batshit tangent trying to disprove the dictionary definition of the word faith.
Explain to me how Burn falling on his tailbone is the managers fault. Same with Anderson. Then tell me it's Howe's fault for overplaying Manquillo Please
No I have not because Faith is absolute Confidence is confidence 'Complete' confidence is used to describe the faith
I just understand that is you add the word complete to many words it means something different. Confidence and complete confidence are not the same meaning.
I'm not the one making the claim.. you're claiming the injuries are all nothing to do with our intensity and number of games. Many experienced people knew this would be an issue before a ball was kicked and unfortunately they look right. All you've got is a list of injuries.
Can we close this thread please Groot. I think it's best because in time we will get a conclusion anyway.
Just had a quick glance at the table, we are 8th but only 6 points off 4th, two home games coming up, we are still in a good position.
Hamstrings and muscle tears you could put down to too many games and intensity if you wanted to be pedantic. A hamstring pull for either Isak or Wilson I'd argue the case against as they've got previous. You can't say Targett and Manquillo's injuries are due to over playing, Targett's was a classic case of someone not warming up properly. He didn't even run for a ball when he went down. So personally I'm not blaming Howe for them either. Burn and Anderson have stress fractures of the back from injuring themselves when landing - That's not from over playing so the Howe argument doesn't come into it. It could have happened in pre season just as easy as it did during a busy fixture schedule. Bruno and Tonali were suspensions - Again not Howe's fault. Will always happen with Bruno. Barnes and Botman were impact injuries - Can happen at any time, so the argument doesn't stack up blaming Howe for those either. Miggy doesn't tend to get injured often so there's a question mark on over playing with him and the Murphy one was a risk that they've admitted they knew it was a risk so if you want to chuck something to stick its possibly that one. Other than that blaming Howe is quite clearly your mental gymnastics at play here not mine.
This is true but unfortunately that will involve a winning streak of 5 or 6 games to get back in the mix because they don't lose many up there and we've lost 4 and are absolutely useless away. Looks like top four is not going to happen much as I expected, but nobody would listen to the reasons given and just kept banging on about last season.
