Injuries

A foolish decision to let a grafter try and play through the pain barrier.

It's serious at least a couple of months for a knee
What I was saying is, speaking from experience, is that if you have a serious knee injury there is no way you can go back out and walk let alone anything else.

I'm trying to be extra positive to make up for all the negativity.

Not necessarily I've known people play on with bad injuries including breaks.

There no negativity really it's just fair assessment

Big question is what does Bruce do now? Seems to have found a formation that suited the majority but is it worth now changing shape again as I can't see anyone to fulfil the roles vacateded by the three injuries?

Think we should be going 4-3-3 for the run in. Keep the 3 CM's as they seem to compliment each other Shelvey can pass better than the rest of our squad put together but not run, Hayden and Willock will do the leg work and defensive work around him. 2 of Joelinton, Murphy or Fraser out wide with Carroll/Gayle up top. If sticking with the formation I'd play Murphy through the middle, Fraser and Joelinton out wide.

We really are ****ed now. Sheffield United us and Brighton to go.

Don't get me wrong I am NOT happy with how Steve's tenure has gone but I'm quietly confident we will be fine this season. Things have improved since GJ came in, the midfield is where we were losing games and possession but with Willock Hayden and Shelvey in there we are more competitive. Honestly think we need 7-9 points from the remaining games as long as we don't lose to Fulham on the last day.

We will have little to no creativity mate. Fraser is probably the only creative outlet we have now and he will more than likely get injured. Nailed on to lose on Sunday imo. I think we need 12 more points to survive. Can't see us getting them, just my opinion though.

Urgh, so West Brom are gonna make up a 10 point difference in 12 games? They had to rely on a **** VAR to beat Brighton, they're hardly on fire.

Please don't tell me your one of these "Big Sam guarantees you'll stay up" bores, he's won 2 games out of 14 with them.

And have you looked at Fulham's March fixtures? They're against Spurs, Liverpool, Man City and Leeds...i can genuinely see them getting nothing from that lot, we just have to get some points in March to widen the gap.

Yea I fancy them to get out of it. He has them keeping clean sheets now. There is only one way it's going once he gets the defence right. I appreciate the gap we have on them at the moment but that could be down to 3 points by 2pm on Sunday.

Look at the reverse fixtures for them games. Fulham could easily win one of them for example. They drew with both Liverpool and Spurs and only lost by the odd goal against the other 2.
