Tramps bollocks, sauted in butter, served with a tagnut emulsion and some deep fried crispy dog nipples
He's one of them Street chefs innit, frying up anything that lands in his pan. Cockroach butty, hold the roach.
So Ginge thinks that Zidane praising Scholes and, later, Gerrard as the best players around means that Lampard was the top man? OK then.
I'll only say that if the ginger bender was so good someone forgot to nominate him for the Balon D'or or POTY.
Do you think all those players were talking **** about Scholes and just forgot to mention Lampard? He was definitely appreciated more by players than stats obsessed football fans and journalists.
He didn’t court publicity and wasn’t a prolific goal scorer due to his style of play. Anyway, I’m sure he feels he had a good career as he won a couple of medals. The praise from other players probably means more to him than the views of a bunch of old Chelsea fans. Probably. Fwank can read forums like this while he’s counting his medals. Off to watch cricket in the rain!
Not interested if the guys an introvert Stan. If he is considered a great by your yardstick, why wasn't he nominated at home or abroad for the top honours?
For what it’s worth, as good as he was, I can’t help thinking that Scholes has become a much better all round player since he retired. Cue the stoning of the heretic
Not just by my yardstick. Iniesta Zidane Henry Vieira Pele Figo Davids Lippi Guardiola Messi Ronaldo https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/genius.com/amp/Yinyang-user-quotes-on-paul-scholes-annotated To be fair I also found a link to quotes about Fwank. Mourinho rated him as one of the best. https://en.m.wikiquote.org/wiki/Frank_Lampard Cricket in the rain cancelled which is a relief as it was going to be a push to get to the footie.
Fwank definitely had a stand out season in 2005 as Chelsea walked the title. He didn't win the Ballon D'or though. If that's the highlight of his career, finishing runner up in the Ballon D'or, then good for him! Michael Owen won the Ballon d'Or in 2001 when Liverpool did the mickey mouse treble. That must make him better than all other English players. In 1999 Man United won The Treble and Ginola won the PFA Player's Player of the Year. Go figure but that must make him better than all of those United players who won almost everything. In 2009 Ryan Giggs scored 4 goals for United and won the PFA Player's Player of the Year. I thought that was odd but it must mean he was the best player that season. Fwank has never won it. Neither has Scholes. Gerrard has though so he must be better than all English players apart from Mickey Owen (who won the league with United). I need more coffee.
