I like Ings. I still quite like the idea of taking Wickham from the mackems for a knockdown price too. They seem to be under the misguided impression they'd quite a bit through a tribunal but I'm not sure they would. They paid a big fee, which he hasn't lived up to, he didn't come through their system etc. They don't seem that fussed about him and don't rate him. Another handy young Englishman on a free at the end of the season.

It's quite handy having SAFC on the doorstep to nurture young talent for us.

Ings over Wickham, tribunal fee's are usually a knock down price anyhow.

Ings move afoot? I say go for it. It's a lot more than Shola ever did.

Difficult one for Burnley. Keep him to try and get the goals to stay in the league then lose him on a free or try and cash in come January. I'd take him btw.

I think Burnley will think I'd rather keep him and lose him for nothing. They can't buy a striker of the same quality for the money and his goals are more likely to provide the finance to do that (i.e. staying in the league)

Also if they stay up, he might be more determined to sign a new contract.

Think the tribunal fee is £3m, how much more will they realistically get selling him now?
May as well keep him til summer and hope he keeps them in the league.

We got Sissoko in the last 6 months of his contract for £1.5 million.
