Inglourious Basterds is ****ing class. A war movie played out in the style of a spaghetti western, with the occasional nod to TV classics like the A Team and The Rockford files. It was also quite respectful of the golden age of movies (the 1930s) that it gently took the piss out of. Any film that acknowledges the misdirected genius of Josef Goebbels and Leni Riefensthal, before having Hitler killed off in a Zombie B Movie shoot out, has to be worth watching. Tarantino has done a few truly great films, and a couple of **** ones. This wasn't his best by any means, but it was ****ing funny.
