It was a boring game of chess that neither team wanted to play. Wanted to lose. Or wanted at all. Absolutely crap and a waste of everyone’s time.
Exactly what I was thinking. In a game where (I’m guessing) we easily had the most possession it was our goalkeeper who stood out. it also sums up Southgate and his negative philosophy as well.
What a pile of ****e that was. I watched a few minutes on channel 4 on my mobile in an Italian restaurant in Berlin on Saturday night. Not even the waiter was bothered...well, he was Albanian. Bogs were OK (for Chippy).
