Back in the fifties a Tory MP named Enoch Powel (anyone remeber him?) said that if Britain didn't stop immigration 'now', we would see "blood in the streets in England". I don't go much on Tories but in retrospect, was he right or what?

I remember it and I remember how people said what a load of rubbish he was talking!
Play that speech back today and listen carefully, the guy was not racist but certainly visionary!
Mixed ethnic groups historically have not settled together and probably never will in total peace and harmony but the liberal minded simply refuse to accept that.

Maggie was less inclined to take **** from such people, sadly politics in the UK has moved in to neutral liberal territory so is unlikely to happen now.

Exactly Neil and we need her mentality now with a hard nosed policy of using whatever it takes to deal with this like rubber bullets, tear gas and water cannons but it wont happen!
Every other country in the world does it when you watch it on the news here so **** the PC brigade as I always think that if it pisses them off then it must be doing some good.
