Yeah true. Still is very upsetting when he misses such a clear penalty which would have drawn us level. We've had awful decisions against us all season.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I was fuming about the one in the first half when you guys scored. The ref was crap with nearly everything today.

Been discussing the game with a fair few mates who are Spurs fans.

There's no denying that you were by far the better side and could have won by a hell of a lot more than 2-1. You deserved the points.

However, Sandro comes out with his volleyball action, when it's still 2-1, and Lee Mason manages to close his eyes to an obvious penalty which would probably have made it 2-2. Deserved or not. So feeling a bit aggrieved as well.

However crap refereeing is ONE of the reasons we lost. Another was piss-poor defending. Another was playing only four in midfield against Spurs' excellent midfield.

Yeah, I thought that was a big mistake starting 442. As I said in our match thread when I saw the line ups, it's rare that sides set up 442 against us but when it's happened this season it's played into our hands. I wasn't so confident this time as even though Poyet probably didn't know we only had one fit centre back having 2 forwards up against us seemed like it would cause us problems. I think 4411's a great and simple system to get the best out of your team though, your wingers can put in excellent deliveries but they're not the most quick so I think having someone in advanced area that can support them is important.

Can't say I rate Poyet but I hope he does well for you, Sunderland have so many false dawns since getting back into the PL and that's down to the managers a lot of the time. You deserve one to go right.
