Spurs changed their formation in the 2nd half and we didn't even notice. We were totally pedestrian and played telegraph ball football.
For about 15 minutes aye they could have scored about 6 goals. But once Cattermole came on and Ki pushed further forward we were on top.
All that matters for me is that at 2-1 we were denied a stonewall penalty. It's unacceptable
Referees decisions are nothing to do with where we are - just incompetent management of the club. Ashley constantly gets pelters but he must be laughing his socks off at our chairman.
We've played ****e for a lot of this season but...
Countless KEY decisions have went against us this season, this has undoubtedly cost us plenty of points. And I've had enough. I had enough the other week but it just keeps getting worse.
Referees need help to do their job
Their decisions have also gained us points - remember Larsson's challenge in the Man City match - a sure sending off. I'm not disagreeing that things have not gone our way but blaming referees always happens when things are not going well. Quite naturally, you want points from anywhere, as I do, but I'm not having the referees are to blame scenario. As I've said before, Ellis Short needs to take stock and decide what he wants for this club.
I would take Larsson being sent off vs City if that meant all the **** decisions against us went away. Video replays NEED to be used
Agree about Ellis. Investment is needed in Jan, he was clearly reluctant to spend in the summer. If he's not gonna fund transfers in January we're ****ed

Billy, I'm not sticking up for Ashley just trying to point out the bad decisions made by Short. He thinks that endless change is the way forward, when it's quite the opposite;we need a period of stability. We don't need a new manager every year-that's what's created the problem. What we need is a footballing philosophy and a manager that fit's the philosophy.
Over the past few years, we have lurched from manager to manager and each one has wanted to play differently and buy many new players to fit in with their way of playing - look where it's got us.
The refereeing thing is just a side issue and something we all tend to focus on, when things are not going well.

You are right we were crap but that doesn't excuse the awful decision by Mason who was looking directly at the incident.
The handball denied a goal scoring opportunity because we had a player directly in line with the flight of the ball, so should it have been a penalty and a sending off?
