all these "you're bitter" comments are ridiculous.

How can fellow spurs fans call one another "bitter" over Modric's departure, when he displayed such disgusting behaviour to get his move? firstly with chelsea, then this summer.

notice how no one says anything about Rafa? yeah, because he remained professional and dealt with his move in the correct way, what ever his reasons. - we all wish him well.

how anyone can defend Modric's behaviour is beyond me. wake up.

Spot on Roo, Rafa never made a secret of his love for HSV, whether he was at Madrid or Spurs. Plus we all knew Sylvie worked over in Germany AND Andre did say in a press conference after we sold him that he was a player we were willing to let go providing cover was brought in (which we did in Sig and Deuce) so it's not as if he was holding us to ransom, spitting his dummy out or being a pr*ck. He still wishes Spurs all the best on Twitter at times which is a great touch.

He's sorely missed but there's no grudge or "bitterness" towards a model pro and fantastic former player for us.

The last two seasons Modric broke his leg one season and died together with the rest of the team the next.
Both occasions it cost us a Champions League place.

Didn't he owe the club another season? No.He wanted to be a pot hunter!
