The US, by the way, has a net 0 rate of Mexican immigrants, which means more Mexicans are leaving the states than are coming in <ok>
If all mexicans were deported from the US, the US economy would crash over night.
Have you any idea how many Mexicans make up the Fast Food industry, cleaning and sanitation Industry, Hotel Industry, construction industry, and domestic service industry in the US?
The country would be bought to its knees.

No his presidency would probably end with Chinese "liberation forces" dragging him out of the bombed out remains of the white-house.

He'd pick a war with the Chinese and his megalomania would cause him to lose (even with superior technology). I doubt he would allow himself to be impeached he'd lock away anyone who suggested it and have them tortured.

There is no chance he will get in. There is more chance of Corbyn getting in here than Trump, and Corbyn's chances are low

I think it's too little too late from Rubio and as of now trump will do well in Super Tuesday and by the time the idiotic remaining candidates clear the field there won't be enough delegates left to swing it away from trump.

I know many individual yanks who are perfectly normal, and I'm sure they are largely representative of the people generally.
However, collectively, the country somehow seems to turn into a mind-bogglingly deranged bunch of loonies.

    Still, Donald Trump?

    They couldn't.......

    Could they?

Trump will win the GOP Primary, he will be the Republican candidate.

The Democratic candidate is still up in the air, could easily still be Clinton or Sanders.
Clinton has a slight lead right now having won Nevada, but there is still plenty of time to go and Sanders numbers are up nationally, especially amongst millenials.

I agree that whoever Trump is up against, be it Clinton or Sanders, he will get his ass royally kicked.
If he doesn't then the world is headed for trouble.

I just want to point out millenials are barely able to vote and generation z are in diapers.

It is naive in the extreme how some view sanders

Most politicians are the same frankly.

Some genuinely think he will do some amazing thing... like Obama.

The little things count more like not building a wall over the tunnels and not nuking iran and such......

It's the little things politicians do that sometimes dont get noticed that hurt or help most.

You mean like increasing the number of drone attacks exponentially in foreign countries, killing thousands of ppl, many of those being innocent civilians, without any checks or balances to see whether these actions are criminal? Yeh Obama's a real trooper!

    Definitely.

Would be the best thing that happens to America tbh. The fallout from it may get them to reassess their role in the world.

Having a megalomaniac in charge wouldn't just effect the US though, it would have knock on effect the world over.

And it already doesnt??? The world burns in order to "protect American interests". So far the world has tolerated it bcos there's always been a veneer of legitimacy for their leaders to hide behind...even Bush. A meglomaniac like Trump may be enough to tip the rest of the world over the edge in finally saying, "enough!"

Anything to bring some parity to the world.

    Parity?
A US lead Trump would not bring parity, it would bring Chaos.
Don't forget that America are part of NATO, so if they go to war, we are obligated to back them.

Once again, we already have chaos.

We arent obliged to back them lol. Hence why Blair needed a vote in parliament before the Iraq war. And that's precisely my point. We'll finally have an American leader we couldnt possibly back. He will end up in a war like Vietnam or Iraq and end up with America isolated. The outcome after Trump's debacle will be that America will hopefully have to rethink their role in the world.

America wasn't isolated, per se, during Vietnam. Australia and NZ, both closer to the region, supported them. And don't forget that it was the Democrats under Kennedy that took them in, went further under LBJ, and only started getting out under Nixon and, finally, Ford.

If the US went to war in Europe (say over Turkey or Ukraine) I'm afraid we would be going to war. Certainly over Turkey, which is a NATO member. At least in those circumstances the US would allow us to use our 'independent' trident submarine missiles, I suppose. But not otherwise, as they control the software, guidance systems and launch codes that they depend upon.

Yes that would be a good thing <doh>

We wouldn't be obligated unconditionally no, but it would still drive a wedge through NATO.
Lets potentially sabotage one of the most successful military alliances on Earth just for ****s and giggles, and because you feel America needs to be bought down a peg.

Really? Mein Kampf was written in Lansberg prison in 25/26, eight years before he came to power and nearly two decades before the Holocaust. It's all in there what he thinks about the Jews and his solutions. The only thing he doesn't elaborate upon is death camps and Zyklon B, but they were probably emergent tactics. They did underpin the overall strategy though: exterminate the Jewish race, and that strategy should have come as no surprise to anyone.
